Art - “All those varieties of picture, when they are really art, fulfil their purpose and feed the spirit”
- Kandinsky

Art is an expression of beauty, it is an expression of the Soul’s emotions, the primordial essence.

The process of artistic creation is a therapy in the ancient sense of the term, care, and also cares for what animates us, our Soul.

The process of creation is deeply transformational and provides an intimate revolution.

Artistic practice enables us to express emotions and to develop sensibility.

It helps to unblock difficulties in expression and stimulates creative potential.

The encounter with oneself, in silence, showing our capacity to overcome limits, creates the beautiful.

Art is an object of education when artistic techniques are taught and is also an education process that facilitates co-creation.

I identify with the view that attributes to the artistic process of expression and creation a transforming role in training, in a relationship of personal and social assistance, in the concept of Art and Therapy.

Artistic co-creations revealed by shamanic methods represent the purest essence of Art.

Since the earliest times and among indigenous civilisations, Artistic Expression and Art have been Arts of Healing, in addition to their aesthetic component.

“To give people pleasure in the things they must perforce use, that is one great office of decoration.”
- William Morris

Design is the process of technical and creative conception and creation of products in the different areas of human need, communication and production of more or less industrialised artefacts.

Sociodrama - "A truly therapeutic technique must be aimed at no less than all humanity"
- Jacob Levy Moreno

Sociatrics, the healing of society and of human life, is the theoretical support for Psychodrama and Sociodrama, as their creator Jacob Levy Moreno wrote “there is no nothing more practical than a good theory.”

Sociodrama derives from socius which means partner and drama which means action.

Psychodrama derives from psyche which means soul, and is the method that truly enters the soul through action, created by Jacob Levy Moreno, the man who brought laughter to psychiatry, in the 1930s.

Psychodrama is an individual therapy in a group. Sociodrama is relationship therapy in groups: couples, families, professional or organisational groups and others.

Pedagogical Sociodrama is powerful as an integral learning method in education and human development.

The action in sociodrama focuses on the emergent group, working with drama techniques and other active techniques, focusing attention in the here and now, in relation to each member of the group and the group as a whole.

Sociodrama facilitates the expression and integration of emotions and feelings, providing new perceptions and increasing self-knowledge, as well as training empathy, spontaneity and creativity.

"The best actions, the most generous gestures, risk reinforcing errors and evil if we do not rediscover the light that illuminates the paths of life"
- Celestin Freinet

Education is a process concerned with individual potentials and weaknesses, balancing them in order to achieve individual excellence, social cooperation and integration into the Universe.

Integral education is aimed at integral intelligence, providing opportunities for constant discoveries, which become part of each person’s knowledge. This knowledge acquired through discovery and experience is Wisdom.

Education is provided through the emotional relationship and the transmission of knowledge, making participants real human beings, who learn to know, make, live with others and Be.

“Peace does not fall from the sky like rain, it comes with those who prepare it.”
- Amerindian Wisdom

Education for Peace includes the principles and values of a Culture of Peace and makes it possible to understand and experience Deep Ecology.

It is an integral form of Education, incorporating the pillars of basic education as defined by UNESCO.

Education for Peace is not lyrical, but instead a quite specific form of practical learning that facilitates the transformation of obstacles to Peace and generates balance in everyday life.

Manifesto 2000 for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World:

  2. Reject violence
  3. Share with others
  4. Listen to understand
  5. Preserve the planet
  6. Rediscover solidarity

“We must convey [...] the necessity of getting out of ourselves and submitting to the teachings of experience, if we really want to know and to understand.”
- Emile Durkheim

Sociology studies human behaviour and social phenomena, by reference to the environment and the processes that interconnect individuals in social groups.

It analyses human beings in relationships of interdependence, in the different forms of organisation of societies and cultures.

“The wise man doesn’t give the right answers, he poses the right questions.”
- Claude Lévi-Strauss

Anthropology is the study of humans.

It studies Humanity in its various dimensions and diversity.

It studies human origins and human development.

"The universe is an infinite agglomeration of energy fields"
- Teachings of Don Juan to Carlos Castaneda

Shamanism derives from a word in the language of a Siberian tribe, saman, connected to the verb scha which means “to know”. A shaman is a person who knows, who is wise. This word reached us through Russian. Some etymologists believe its root can be found in the Sanskrit word sramana, designating what we would call a priest and physician.

Recent research has noted that the shaman acts in the area of reality shared by mystics and physicians.

Shamans are men and women of medicine who travel into the world of non-habitual reality, outside space and time, obtaining information there that they can use to develop human potential, solve problems and heal.

This system of methods developed over thousands of years, throughout the world, is not a religion, although in some cultures it has created the established religion.

Core shamanism arose in the late 1950s, as the result of research by a number of anthropologists at the time. It has basic principles identical to those found among all indigenous nations.

Shamanism reappears today as a practice of human development and healing, operating independently from or as a complement to teams of therapists and physicians, with traditional scientific training.

"Astrology as a technique in human understanding. For what the sky reveals is nothing but raw materials for human understanding. The astrologer needs to have gained more than mere technical proficiency, he must also have reached a high degree of human understanding"
- Dane Rudhyar

Astrology is the symbolic language of esoteric science. The Natal Chart or Horoscope is an astrological diagram using symbols at the time of a person’s first breath and the interpretation of these symbols is an art.

The Universe is energetic, comprising interconnected systems in movement. Each Human Being is part of this Universal Whole and is subject to the systemic laws of the cosmos.

Astrology indicates and guides each person’s existence on the earth, giving meaning to life and awareness to choices. It elucidates the past and helps to understand the present, opening the future in the Universal Order.

“Practice has solid foundations, when cultivated over a long time, without interruptions and with deep devotion”
- Patanjali

Primordial Yoga – Sámkhya - Shakti

Yoga consists of several technical disciplines. It is a science revealed from the integral and harmonious development of the Human Being, leading to super-awareness.

Yoga means union, connecting what is frequently not united within each of us: body, feelings, emotions, thoughts and cosmic awareness, from which we often feel separated, causing us suffering.

Practicing yoga works on the personality, clarifies intelligence, enhances sensitivity and opens out the heart and perception, fortifying the body. It is an art and a philosophy of life that connects us to the source of joy and love and leads to plenitude.

“Practicing is more important than a thousand words about yoga”, say the great Masters.

“While not wishing to attempt a global approach, nor to establish a closed system of thought, nor to invent a new Utopia, we recognize the pressing need for truly transdisciplinary research through a dynamic exchange between the natural sciences, the social sciences, art and tradition.”

Venice Declaration – UNESCO 1986

Ancient Traditions of Wisdom are, in addition to doctrines and religions, a Cultural and Spiritual Heritage that includes the principles of laws and universal values.

Theoretical and practical knowledge of these traditions can guide and create a new way to integrate new visions of evolution, science, art and philosophy, contributing to Humanity in evolution.
